Food was fabulous. The live entertainment was great and the service was great. First time here and we will be back.

Delicious food and excellent service from a friendly staff. Some nights they have live music and dancing. My favorite is the Burrito Especial with carne asada.

Great margaritas and friendly service. Their enchilada red sauce has has nice twist, kind of like mole.

My all time favorite spot for Mexican food. Friday nights they have liveusic which is AWESOME! FOOD IS TO DIE FOR

Great food and friendly service. We were a large party and the food came fast, hot and, very good. Servers extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely return on our next trip to San Francisco.

Fantastic food. Looks like a hole in the wall, but well worth it. I got the carne asada and was NOT disappointed. Will go back next time I stay close to the airport.

The food is delicious!! Made with decent quality ingredients. Well worth the prices!!The service provided by Elena is the best!!!! She took the time to explain the choices for the food I ordered. She kept coming back to ask if we needed anything. Her level of customer service makes you want to come back.

Awesome, authentic Mexican food. Coming from Texas, I'd like to think I knew what good Mexican food is ;)... or maybe just texmex lol. Really like this place though. Great salsa and chips on the house with huge portions for your entree.

Great authentic Mexican food from great people! When I went in, I couldn’t tell a taco from a torta, but the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I don’t think I’ve had better Mexican food anywhere.

The food here is really good and in large portions. So far the enchiladas and the Coronaritas are my favorite

This place is good. It can be both not crowded and crowded. By this I mean, depending on the time, day, and week, it may be crowded or not. There is not really a "scheduled" busy time, just times where everyone decides to go there. Mainly the weekend, obviously, but there is the slow times. They also had different hours posted on their door, but not sure if that is temporary or permanent, have not confirmed it yet.

The camarones en la diable are the best I ever had...super spicy and delicious!

I haven't been here in a few years since I moved, last night I stopped in to get some menudo for my honey and a vegetarian burrito for myself and I was so happy with my food! My burrito was delicous, I love the mole sauce and it was just as good as I remember it! The people that work here are so nice too, I love it here!!!***we have been coming here once a month for the last 6 or 8 months and I look forward to it all month. The service is excellent and I love our waitress, she is so nice! We always order an extra burrito to go so my Honey can have it and he makes it last a few days lol thanks for making our visit so wonderful all the time...I love my veggie burrito with mole and it lasts me 3 meals 😋

I have been coming here since I was a child and I have always left satisfied. The cook are very friendly the food is good and the waitresses are nice. Great place to watch the game they have three TVs and live music at night time.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Their food is so tasty, very authentic. The sauces are superb. Reasonable and enough food to have another meal the next day.

The food is delicious off the hook!!! If you love Mexican food and garlic in your rice then this food is for you! Comfy atmosphere nothing splashy, however it's a place you can relax with your family and not have to dress-up everyone is welcomed!My husband, family and friends plan to make this our get together restaurant!Don't tell the owner, but the prices are half that of Chevy's, the food is better and it's authentic Mexican food not TexMex.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I was in there April 8, 2019. I had a beef enchilada combo and an ice tea. I give server my card to close out. Charge comes back for $30. When I ask the lady that this doesn't look right. Would she please review the charges. She refunds me $12.55 but in offline mode. Basically meaning no refund. I go in to restaurant and let staff know what was done. I will never ever be back in that restaurant. Very shady practices. My bank will take care of me. Watch yourself, buyer beware. Pictures don't lie. OFFLINE MODE SHADY!

Good food, generous portions and reasonable priced

Overall the best Mexican place I have ever eaten at. I am sort of a quesadilla expert, and I must say the quesadillas here are the best out of all, excluding Mexico. If you are looking for a good bite with the family, or a drink with the buds at the bar, this is the place to go!

We have been dining here on a regular basis with family and friends, for 25 years and have noticed a recent decline in quality. Could be a change in cooks? Or perhaps because we dine in the late afternoon? We have noticed fluctuations in food preparation quality as well as pricing for my Top Shelf Margaritas. Today instead of a fluctuation between $9 - $12 for my drink we were billed $14. My wife ordered the $11.95 2 Taco Combination Plate requesting Carne Asada RARE. It was over cooked and tasted like old refrigerated meat. AND, we were billed $15.95!!! The waitress said it costs more if you request Carne Asada, or Shrimp etc. I pointed out that this IS NOT noted anywhere in the menu. She basically shrugged her shoulders. This is inexcusable!!! I am writing this in hopes that Las Trancas management will read this criticism as they don't have a website with a contact us option. We are disappointed to scratch these guys off as one of our local go-to favorites.

A hidden gem that serves gigantic portions of home cooked Mexican food. Their menudo is probably the tastiest I've had in Northern California. This is the place you take all your southern California friends who complain that northern California doesn't know how to do Mexican food.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the Bay Area. It's very unassuming, but has a full bar and killer food at affordable prices. Staff is nice and friendly and the inside is homely and comforting. We had the carnitas and chimichanga and agreed it was some of the best we had. The chips are also amazing. It comes with a mild and a spicy salsa. It's not the kind of spicy you get from Taco Bell either. It's flat out fire 🔥Parking is rather limited in the area, but it's worth walking a couple extra blocks to eat here.
